The Challenge

The reason HeathBrook has been a supply partner to Gatwick Airport Ltd since 2005, and has continued to grow as a supplier to the multiple disciplines that need workwear throughout the airport, is our reliable service consistency, often replacing incumbent suppliers as a result.

Our long tenure with the airport has only been possible by helping them face their challenges as they have arisen: a rebrand in 2010, cost saving requirements, product innovation, stock management and covid-19 to name but a few.

For the rebrand the Heathbrook team went to great lengths to come up with a range of quality garments, whilst incorporating the new corporate image.

Heathbrook were selected as the preferred supplier for the roll-out, and we delivered uniforms for the entire workforce within 2 months.

LGW have made use our Workwear Manager Online Ordering System. This enables slick ordering against visual graphics of each item, and also offers a simple Management System, for this otherwise tedious and complicated operation.

The Result

We have provided GAL with a 20% reduction in costs through using our Workwear Management Tool. Cost savings are always very good, when garment quality remains high and the issue allocation is professionally monitored.

We have also provided further savings in areas such as processing time, stores handling, record keeping, kit issue.

We are particularly proud of the uniforms that the Security Staff at GAL wear, meeting their exact needs and making their job easier.
